In our first episode of #HumanswithPurpose, we meet Pathik Muni of #KhanaChahiye, a social enterprise that has to date feed over 46,50,000 people in this pandemic on the streets of #Mumbai. Listen to him to understand the impact he and his team has created on the lives of migrant labourers, how they were able to find their purpose in life in improving the lives of others.

KhaanaChahiye Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Mumbai established to combat hunger. It was founded on 29th March as a relief effort during the COVID-19 lockdown with a pilot of 1200 meals on the Western Express Highway by Ruben Mascarenhas, Rakesh Singh, Swaraj Shetty, Anik Gadia, Neeti Goel, Shishir Joshi and Pathik Muni. It is powered by 200 + citizen volunteers in partnership with the citizen collective Litmus Test Project, Project Mumbai and Bharat Utthan Sangh. Along with immediate relief, Khaana Chahiye conducts advocacy efforts through its policy intervention – The Hunger Map Project
